I doubt very much that you sit back and listen when people who know more about gods tell you the straight dope about gods.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yes; I know how your brain works. I know how you think and process information. I know how you make your judgements and decision. I know what influences your beliefs. And I know all of this and more better than you know them yourself.
Why would I not be confident about this? Pick a topic that doesn't deal with human behavior and cognition and I'll gladly sit back and listen.
A trained psychologist would see this for the bunk it is. He or she would also have far superior communications skills than you exhibit here. The brain is plastic and remains so until late in life, barring disease or disorder. Experience can and does change mental heuristics.
I don't have a degree in psychology, but I've got a good bullshit detector. I don't think you know your ass from third base about human psychology.

Right; because most people with a psychology degree know the dunning-kruger effect doesn't exist.

The desire to avoid personal responsibility seems to be a powerful effect in christians lives.

Oh, denial...nice. Isn't that the main component of Dunning-Kruger?

While it's true the Dunning-Kruger effect tends to be a statistical artifact to then claim that It doesn't exist just isn't supported as it's a fact there are people who are not competent or qualified who have inflated sense of there own abilities and it's not rare
