7. The U.S. should focus on going through the remaining 3,5 year of Trump Presidency without causing too much damage on the existing world order. I’m sure the US will then be fully present in the reconstruction of Ukraine hopefully with the war having ended 2 years ago or something like that

Russia doesn't have enough money to pay for the damage russia has done to russia, let alone ukraine.

Yikes, Russia's beleaguered 155th inf just can't catch a break. They were decapitated, literally and figuratively, in the doomed 40km convoy to kiev. They warcrimed their way through bucha before getting mauled in vulhedar, got abandoned without logistics for supply or retreat by main forces in the se, and ended up being embarrassed in kursk. Prior to the war they were believed to be one of russia's most elite fighting units. They have since been destroyed and reconstituted 8 times. Losing somewhere around 80% of the men who have served in the unit in the war in it's various reincarnations.

This time, they got hit on russian soil, on the pacific coast, where they've been reconstituting, again, in prep for their next deployment as cannon fodder.

Just like during the first Trump presidency, the world is on edge. I’m just going to mention the trade wars with all those Chinese products that are going to flood the European market because the US has imposed heavy tariffs on them. Which in turn he is using to put pressure on Europe to get them to do things more the way he wants them to do things.
 
So once again, world leaders are on survival mode. Trying to survive this second “No more America” era, only to put things back in order when Trump is gone.

But I don’t know when this war is going to end, with or without Donald Trump. Or even with a US President like Barack Obama. Russia is still a very strong opponent and no one can attack them directly because of their nuclear arsenal.

Russia has failed to successfully invade one of the only european countries poorer than they are despite a massive force differential between the two, as well as the support of separatists and terrorists in ukraine, in a conflict that is now over a decade. Strong isn't the word I'd use. More like suicidally desperate. Similar effect, I suppose.

Ukraine directly attacked them and occupied their territory, crossing a red line russia had rattled the saber on every day of the week for years. The nukes did not fly. This, because russian command could not be sure that their nukes worked properly and would not be intercepted, while they knew any attempt to use them would cause a global shitstorm of missiles and strikes incoming..and..if it went nuclear, the retaliatory strike absolutely would work and certainly get through. Additionally, they understand that ukraine has no real interest or ability to conquer russia. Icing on the cake - they do not care about their fucking citizens. Full stop.

That's how they've managed to go on as long as they have, and also why they can't scrape up a win. Any threat they make, not just nuclear but any threat that begins with "for the defense of"..is utterly full of shit. They have as much interest in defending russia or russians as ukraine does in occupying moscow. It will go on as long as putin can convince the people under him to keep losing money and not a single US dollar further.
