Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
Meanwhile, in russia.

Someone got their hands on casualty reporting from the Russian 9th Sep Guards. They were formed, initially, out of the remnants of a paramilitary group fighting in Donetsk. They've since participated in Avdiivka, Kharkiv, Pokrovsk, and Toretsk. They are currently fighting in Sumy. The kia/wia ratio appears to be 1.36/1. For reference, infantry units in ww2 enjoyed a 1/4 average, 1/6 in vietnam, 1/7 in iraq/afghanistan. They're blaming the unit chief. If this is close to the current average across other russian line units, and there's no reason to suspect that it isn't - it would suggest well over half a million russian kia. All for nothing. The russian empire is no closer today than it was in 2016.

Putin remains a master strategist.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. RE: Russia and Ukraine
Quote:KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine's economy minister and the key negotiator in the mineral deal with the U.S, Yuliia Svyrydenko, was appointed as its new prime minister Thursday, becoming the country's first new head of government since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.

Svyrydenko is one of a group of officials taking on new roles in Ukraine's government, as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reshuffles the Cabinet in a bid to energize a war-weary nation and boost domestic weapons production in the face of Russia's grinding invasion.

At home, however, the Cabinet recalibration has not been seen as a major shift, as the Ukrainian leader continues to rely on officials who have proven their effectiveness and loyalty during the war, now in its fourth year.

Zelenskyy submitted nominations on Thursday to shuffle top government positions, including the replacement of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the longest-serving head of government in Ukraine's history.

Here is Derek Huffman, a Texan who was so captivated by Russia and its policy of protecting traditional values that he left the United States with his family and moved to Russia.

Hoping to obtain citizenship, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense. Initially, he was promised a position in a rear unit, and later in engineering.

After only two weeks of training — an extremely short period — he was assigned to an assault unit. Since then, he has not made contact.

His family panicked. In addition to not receiving the money promised under the contract, they had to send Huffman funds themselves so he could buy proper equipment. It was shortly after this that he disappeared somewhere in eastern Ukraine.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

If it went for derek the same way it goes for any other sad sack of potatoes his unit leader stole the money his family sent then tied him naked to a tree for ukranian drone operators to deal with. He will be reported as mia and likely a deserter rather than kia to avoid paying out death benefits.

Disappearance of anyone willing to fight for ruᛋᛋia is a net gain for the world.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.
