My group of theists is attacking a group of people not the actions of individuals within the group you're generalizing and committing the error of ingroup bias.
Yes. Millions of whites have murdered. Millions of blacks, Asians, etc. Millions of capitalists, communtists, and atheists too.
That doesn't make everyone in all those groups murderers. We aren't all murderers. By your logic everyone is.

Ugh that first sentence is a grammatical travesty. Sorry. There should be a period before "you're generalizing"

The fact that modern Christians do not read or do not believe the Bible cannot be used as an alibi for their not being aware of the crimes of their own people.

I don't think you understand what you are saying. That's like saying all whites are slavemasters bc Jefferson was. It's idiotic. People are individuals. The evil actions of individuals should be attributed to a plethora of dynamic sociocultural, economic, and political factors. Not broad generalizations attributed to all members of a group sharing any particular characteristic or characteristics. The only murderers are those individuals who murder. They can be found across all races, cultures, and creeds.

Ugh. That you have the nerve to correct someone else's grammar is amusing. Communtists? Incomplete sentences, making up the word "ingroup," end-of-sentence prepositions and run ons. You follow that hunk of shit with a grammar lesson? You cannot be fucking serious.
Edit: I do believe that you quoted someone without actually using the quote function, dick. In that case, you missed punctuation . . . twice. There should have been a comma after "ugh" and a period after "you're generalizing." Don't be a cunt. Despite the fact that only half of the hunk of shit appears to be yours, you still suck. Um. I was correcting my own grammar. The quote was a paraphrase. Quotes were to go around only "your group of theists". The ellipse I used was just to indicate that that sentence continued...

Ah, the condescension. It is difficult for me to take a person seriously when his posts are filled with grammar school level structure, punctuation and spelling. You are asserting something that is an established fallacy and want to be taken seriously. Step one to making me pay any attention to your claims, make your point succinctly with few, if any, errors.
One page back, you stated that religion is a position on the belief or disbelief in god. That is false. In fact, I am relatively certain you just pulled that one out of your ass. Please quote a reliable dictionary on that definition of religion. Seriously, write a check you can actually cash.

Well when you say things like "ingroup is a word I made up", or, theists all are "racist" as kechiega (or however you spell it) did, I guess any attempt to elucidate may seem condescending.
people who believe they are intelligent feel slighted whenever they are exposed to be wrong about something. It's something I have noticed with many posters here. Many people are really defensive.
* I am not talking about atheists, just some of the posters here, some of which happen to be atheists.
