As much right-wing violence as has been perpetrated in America, pointing to left-wing violence (which hasn't been shown yet in this case) strikes me as an illusionist's "look over here" moment. The numbers speak for themselves; right-wing terrorist actions far outweigh the left here.

So the shooter was from a conservative family, and his dad taught him to shoot. He could be one of Trump's loyalists taking out those that fall out of MAGA lines—like all other Republicans who get death threats when they go against Trump. Kirk was publicly saying that the Epstein Files need to be released, and then Laura Loomer was tweeting (in now-deleted tweets) that he betrayed Trump, so maybe the shooter felt the calling.
