Well, I think we all agree with this. Government, under either party, gets involved in pushing partisan narratives way too often.

But I have no idea how we'd get from where we are now to a pure system like that.

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good, aim for a slightly less corrupt system, and stop electing wealthy kleptocrats.

Deporting maga would be a good start. Move from there to locking the mad king away.

"America, love it or leave it" should cut both ways. But it doesn't, because fascism is tolerated while inclusion is stamped out piece by piece and bit by bit.

Remember Mike Waltz, Trump's national security advisor who incompetently included a journalist with no security clearance in a group chat on Signal about an impending military strike against Houthis in Yemen in which classified information was disclosed to the journalist who later published it all of which resulted in Waltz's firing?
This fuckwit is now your ambassador to the UN.

Ah, the lesser of two evils.
This is why the Democrats never do much. They know we'll have to vote for them because the Republicans are always going to be slightly worse.
And every four years, the worse of the two evils gets more evil, so the lesser of the two can also get worse and we still have to vote for them.
So it's an effective strategy to prevent meaningful change.

Few things funnier than listening to an old disenfranchized neoconservative whine that the Dems aren't effective anymore. You gave MAGA your party, so kindly piss off.
What part of stop voting for the greater evil is so very, very difficult for you? You won't get "meaningful change" as long as you keep electing and empowering Mad King Donald.
If you consistently voted the greater evil out of power then sooner or later the other party would either fade into obscurity or choose to become the lesser evil. That is how you get change.

You know you are preaching to a brick wall, yes?
You are talking to someone who allegedly who votes for the greater evil and thus makes life more miserable for all......but himself, comfortably sitting on the other side of the world so that the fallout of his decision (how to vote) can not possibly affect him.
