More than 30 years after retirement, Rick Moranis makes a surprise appearance at ComiiCon with his signature huge helmet to a frenzied, standing ovation. Amazingly, he doesn't look that different.

I can't wait to see Spaceballs 2!

I can. The first one wasn't Mel's best work. I thought is was kind of a dud, really.

But what about Josh Gad and how Spaceballs 2 came to be? He watched the Spaceballs movie, then fell asleep, where he dreamt what the sequel could be about, and then he called Mel Brooks to pitch him the movie and to greenlight the movie.

I mean that's some life: he dreams the movie > makes one phone call > and he's making a movie.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

A good argument that a movie can suck irrespective of the source.

James Cameron claims he dreamed The Terminator. Harlan Ellison didn't buy it and sued him for plagiarism.

Yeah, Ellison was slightly protective of his work. When he wrote ‘City On The Edge of Forever’ for TOS, he (according to David Gerrold) fashioned a rope into a hangman’s noose, hung it over a water pipe in Gene L. Coon’s office and said, ‘Tell me who re-wrote my words.’
