- consistent (mostly)
- fiscally conservative.

I really don't understand how Ron Paul can sit there with a straight face and expect anyone to believe that he didn't know that a newsletter published under his name with his signature for a number of years carried racist comments. ..and how is that "fiscally conservative"? All it says to me is that he has so much money that he can afford to return more money in one year than what most folk make in a lifetime.

It tells me that this man is so rich that he will never be able to understand the common man.

regardless of my own bias against the tea party and Paul's bat-shittery, the man deserves at least some kudos for taking the initiative to do something honorable. Even if it was in the selfish interest of gaining future voters, it's a commendable action and I wish more politicians would take a lesson.
