No real Christian would ever use the words "torture" and "God" in the same sentence, nor would they ever admit that ANYTHING God does did or ever will do would be considered torture.

I'm new to this - what is a POE? Is that some kind of insult, because that only inspires me to pray for you more. God can melt your hardened heart.
I agree with you Reverend (although I don't think you're a real preacher) - God does not torture His creations, we make that choice for ourselves. I was only using that terminology to refute Yahwehistheway, as he is the one who used the word torture.

Yahweh doesn't understand that God is complete and total love and perfect justice. There is room in heaven for you Reverand. Come to Jesus.

Keep believing in myths...it makes me laugh.

More casually, the term has become simply a label for someone pretending to be a fundy. Any use?

This statement is nothing more than bad apologetics. Its laughable actually, when you look not just at theological fatalism but at how glaring the contradiction is that stems from your own theology. How can an omnipotent and omniscience God be forced to do anything? How can an infinite creator be thwarted by the will of finite creations? How can the first and final cause lose control over its own damn creation? How can the unmoved mover be moved? ...by mere mortal man?

Like i said, still not sure if one king is a poe or not...I personally doubt it. No real christian would admit that god tortured people.
