Quote:Please show that God was invented by humans and that God not being necessary for evolution disproves God or God predestining the right mutations to come about so that creatures that he wanted came about.
Your silly-assed jesus does not appear in the literature until sometime in the first...more likely 2d century, AD. Yahweh is an iron-age god. Even the Sumerian deities date back to the 4th millenium at most. In fact, what archaeology shows is that the need - and the thus the invention - of gods seems to be tied in with the agricultural revolution and the stratified societies which resulted for them. Primitive hunter/gatherers generally have an animist religion of ancestor worship or some such shit.
You know, if you would take your head out of your stupid bible and learn some stuff you wouldn't come across as such a self-righteous jackass. Humans had been evolving long before any of these fantastic supernatural beings were concocted by scared little men who needed to understand their world.

You are not using logic or reason at all. You openly spit on them as you spin and twist in your efforts to avoid the defeats they have handed you. You are ABUSING logic and reason. And your sermon is so full of fail it is difficult to figure out where to begin. In short, however, it is only convincing to the choir who have already turned their brains off.
Bell's "experiment" was NOT one, and his conclusions are deeply flawed. The outcome would have been quite different had he played in a mall or a park.
His stunt exhibits the same sort of flawed, circular reasoning as you expand upon in your sermon. Total bollocks.

If that were the case you would leave this forum and quit trolling it with obnoxious superstitious bullshit.

"Now, what if God were to do a similar thing? Hide all of His pomp and majesty, put on an average person’s clothes, and express His character non-verbally as David says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1, NIV) Would many people just walk by? It certainly seems that the Joshua Bell experiment shows at least that much is possible."
Evidently, either God can't create people who can recognize genius or he doesn't want to.
In either case, nothing in your claims is evidence that any god exists, or that the Bible wasn't written by the barely post-lithic peasants who appear to have written it.

Or the people were too into their own lives to notice even if they had the capability to recognize genius.

And your comment does nothing to give evidence that God does not exist… though I didn't intend my article to be evidence for God, my comment did contain personal testimony which we seem to accept in other areas of our lives.
