Next time a child dies of cancer, I will remind the parents of this.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

It is based on sin or how sin started and it is not like the bible story. The bible talks about stuff like a war in heaven and the sin that came from Adam and Eve. Yes there was a war in heaven and it was the spirit of sin that started it.
God’s spirit is to control every thought, to think and do only good things that benefit everyone.
Our spirit or sin wants to be free and to do things that are only good for ourselves. So we love doing bad things toward others. God is control and God has control over all things. And we are free and we want no control over what we do and think.

ALL BAD THINGS ARE THE RESULT OF LACK OF CONTROL OVER SOMETHING!!!!

Our spirit being blind to sin we must suffer very badly for a very long time. When it starts interfering with sinning, then we will question sin. When you see truth you will see sin and what is causing suffering. Only then can you give up sin to stop being apart of its suffering.

That is based on the presumption that god exists Big Grin

To the OP. No not really. It is my believe to live and let live so believe in what ever God you wish just don't dare try convert people out of sheer ignorance.

I never liked the idea of forcefully converting to a religion as that just shows no real establishment at all. Some smaller branches of Christianity even knock on peoples door around here to increase their numbers, its just annoying and quite frankly ignorant.

I don't try to force anyone to believe anything. All I want is a debate using reason and logic.

The person who agreed to debate me isn't responding, so if I don't hear back from her in a bit I will ask someone else.

Alright Jeff. I'm bored and slightly tipsy and so if you'd like I'll debate you.

Your comments above are enough reason to find someone who will take this seriously.

You don't think I'd take it seriously?

Well you said something about being tipsy made u decide to debate. But we can do it. The debate question was, "is belief in God irrational?"

I'm usually in some state of inebriation when I post on this bored, especially in the evenings. But yeah, fine. I'll do it.
