Sex vs. Christianity

The only reason you think the Bible agrees with you is because you've been taught the path to truth is through cherry picking. Cherry picking? Really? Think about that for a moment. Does a historian learn his trade through cherry picking what he wants to learn? How about a builder? An accountant? Philosopher? No, none of them do. Why should being a Christian be any different? If being a Christian was a trade then The Bible would be the manual... so why is cherry picking through it taught as an appropriate method of learning?
If you really are freethinking then consider that question and see if you can think of reasons other than that gained from passages added later on in the new testament. Anything in the Bible will have been written to benefit the Bible. You use that as a reference and its about as reasonable as me asking a murder suspect to be the judge and jury for his own courtcase. It will basically say "because God wants you to"... but you yourself said it was written by men. What the fuck do they know about what God wants?

You keep saying you read the whole thing but I don't believe you. You didn't even know which verse tells you to "cherry pick"...

This is all you have in response to my irrefutable argument for the Biblically described global deluge? You then posses a very general stupidity that transcends religious apologetics.

I know right? Unbelievable. I laid it all out for him, ample evidence, reasoning, a well structured case and he responds with "Damn, I never thought I would ever say this, but you atheists are too damn fundemental, or just mental..."
I mean, fuck. I know for certain I wasn't that stupid when I believed in that shit. I would of been like "... you might have something there... I'll look into it...".
What a waste of time.

Like I said, I usually don't respond to trolls unless I think it'll be fun.

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified ...

On the flip-side:
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Are you even looking at the quotes? They're contradicting. One saying freewill reigns, morality is what you make of it and teach any passages you please.
The other is a stark contrast.

The book, the fucking Bible. If you just read it you'd see its bullshit. Its a series of contradicting quotes even extending so far as to conflict over whether you can cherry-pick verses or you have to follow all of them on pain of going to hell.
Thats not a moral guide, thats not a guide of any kind. If it was a road map you'd end up chasing your own tail then falling down a manhole.
Thats what your religions based on.

So let me get this straight. Your Peter and Revelations quotes are contrasts?

You're not making sense, what's your point?

Says who? You? You don't get to tell anyone what their beliefs are based on, so get over yourself.

And what's with all the editing after I've already read and quoted to your posts? Can't make up your mind?

Is it just me, or do the theists we've been getting here lately scream, with their every word, just how badly they need to get laid?
