Even outside class, I see this cry from all the majorities and minorities world wide. Her suffering is meaningful to me, but not because I agree with her, I hate her attitude which you aptly described. It is meaningful to me because we have always been the same species, despite our labels and politics and religions and boarders. What I hate about her, is not about her, but the downside of our species history in that our tribalism gives us right to claim a monopoly on suffering.
There is not one Muslim, Jew, Chinese or Christian or atheist American who sets a goal of getting MS, as if you could, but what kills me about her special pleading is that she thinks that the only way to better the country is to funnel the money up as a pool to only help people at her level.

Just because you're jealous of her wealth and perhaps bigoted against her religious views (I was once that way) does not mean you should trivialize her condition.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

I believe it is her attitude being bashed here. I don't see anyone trivializing her condition. I could be wrong.

I actually don't see any issue with her attitude other than being out-of-touch....she comes off more genuine than her counterpart.

I disagree, but the reasons are too obvious to bother stating them.

Religion is a separate issue. I know plenty of atheists who would say "die quickly if you cant pay". Ayn Rand is the most famous. A few libertarian atheists at another website I hang out at would agree with Paul Ryan.
It has nothing to do with her condition. I do however have a problem with her attitude that while she can afford health care, pleanty of people who are poor who have the same condition cant. Should they say "oh well, we don't have the money, our tough luck"?
I fucking hate people like you. It has nothing to do with wealth asshole. Henry Ford was a weathy man I could respect. Warren Buffet is a billionaire I can respect. THEY care about the shoulders they stand on and don't piss on the people below them.
Stop watching Faux News, it is making your brain rot.

Ann is a human being and suffers just like I do. But hiding behind like a hostage taker to justify your own greed is insidious. Unfortunately for her, I don't think she realizes that is exactly what she is doing. If they want my empathy for her suffering, then she should have empathy for the poor with the same condition other than "get another job you lazy bum".
Disease, and genetics and illness are NOT class based and affect every class. Ann is just too jaded to understand that most people DONT have the money to her level to battle what nature throws at all of us. She thinks life is a script and eveyrone lives like her and if they don't it is always their fault.

So why is it in this interview you cried about your own suffering, WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE, but want to cut off economic resources to the middle class and poor who also suffer MS and a multitude of other life threatening illness?
I am sorry Ann, but when your rightfully cry like any human would "I don't want to die", your attitude and that of your husband about the resources of the lower two classes who suffer from all the things all humans suffer from, it seems a bit hypocritical for you to ask for sympathy when you make money the issue and self the issue.
The republicunt mantra is that the poor should die and stop wasting oxygen that the rich might need some day.
Fuck 'em all.

I did not trivialize the part about people telling me to shut up, you fucking liar.
