Welcome Chatterton! As others have suggested, please be careful how you tread around some of our resident fundies - in places, the crap can be waist high.
One final thing: distance to the horizon = sqrt (1.5 x observer's height in feet). *Nerdiness ^10*
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yeah, it works out around that for me too, though I'm an inch or two shy of the regulation six feet. That's only when I'm standing on the ground, of course; mostly I inhabit a fourth floor flat, elevating me by some forty feet. Since I live near the centre of town, this is just about the only way I can see the horizon.

I like the cut of your jib, young Chatterton. You really must tell me the name of your jib-cutter.

LOL, why thank you! Hopefully, I'll become familiar with your jib. I suppose my jib-cutter would be constantly noting the anti-conformist paradox, being a non-conformist, and loathing philistinianism.

It's called Science laddie, something you're probably not familiar with.
P.s Hi Chatterton from the West coast of Oz.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
