A soldier performs better if he thinks he's fighting for a moral cause. An athlete performs better if he feels like he can tear up the opposition. Your sense of confidence goes thru the roof if you believe chicks dig that awful haircut you're sporting.

Truth and lies are valid and important factors. But if you put that aside, you will always find this relationship between a positive delusion and better performance/health.

Actually, correction. Neither of the world's major religions have been proven to be a lie.

Except Hinduism, which I think even Hindus admit is BS.

Through braindamage, geneticaly inharited defects, deficiencies and other

2:
Social and Environmental:

stressfull surroundings within workspace, home, family and a lack of capabilities to relax.

Psychological:

Through traumatic expiriences such as abuse and violence.

Like, imagine having a logical argument about the merits of financial planning with...Paris Hilton.

Where there is anger. There must be a source for that anger. A reason for such a emotional response, a reason for such actions. Such as traumer through abuse or depression through a instabile inviorment.

I don't think atheism causes pathology. I think it sustains pre-existing pathology in a special way, more than most religions.

But anger is not necessarily pathological. In this case it's mostly just emotional expression.

It's like hating Justin Bieber. It's just an emotional reaction. It has no reason or functional basis.

Special way because I think hateful Muslims are maybe 5-10% of the population. Hateful Christians are maybe 5-10% of the population. Hateful Hindus 5-10%. Hateful Jews 5-10%.

But hateful atheists, filled with anger and hatred towards other religions is like 90% of atheists. It's special among us.

We can both agree on this.
