You "uncork" the "BULLSHIT" Brand skepticism when it comes to the claims you reject.

I don't think you drink the stupidity of flat earthers. So when you claim, or anyone claims that they have a Santa for adults, I am not going to lose much sleep wondering if I pre maturely uncorked my champagne.

Do you still keep the bottles of Thor and Osirus and Vishnu in your wine cellar?

"This is a common mistake that is made by the purveyors of atheistic naturalism - that of their point of view somehow being the benchmark by which all other views must measure against..... That an atheist considers the claims of a theist to be extraordinary is irrelevant. They are assuming a benchmark which they have no way of proving as valid."

you don't give a shit about proving your position so why should I feel I am somehow in the need to prove anything to you in order to hold my position .

This is laughable. You really think by posting an apologist website that any of us are going to be impressed?

GET THIS THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL

You would NOT swallow the crap a Muslim or Jew or Hindu might post as an argument for their god just because they posted a link. Don't be stupid and think I am going to let my brains fall out because you joined a fan club you want others to join too. Have you switched clubs because some other believer of another myth you know is fictional posted a link?

All you are proving to me is our species history of wishful thinking to the point of desperation that they attempt to retrofit reality to suit their own personal fantasy.

Keep trying though, this is entertaining.

RE: Athiesm is a Faith?
Mark, I don't think you understand the atheist "position". Remember the second (but most common) definition of atheist: person who does not believe in the existence of gods.

It's simply a lack of belief.
I don't believe the countless people who claim (and have claimed in the past) that a god exists.
See? I don't believe in the claims made by people.
As a result, I don't believe in the content of those claims, eg: there is a god.

Is that proof enough of my lack of belief?
Your turn, now!

Well i would take my turn except I have never felt the need to ask anyone to prove they believed in God or otherwise nor have i ever felt the need to ask someone to prove they are right in said beliefs. Because I actually want to find out more about why they hold their beliefs and am not a philosophical bully whose only concern is to try and subdue , embarrass or shut up anyone in their way as a default. I do like argueing over points of contention not killing debate.

So, first you say we have no way of proving our position (in a quote by someone else) and then, when I prove to you the validity of my position you just hide away.... ok.
You're in your right, but it's not nice... just saying.

You didn't prove your position you defined it.

This coming from someone who has an invisible friend? If we all got to make up our super heros then Xena Warrior Princess would have saved me from the jocks who bullied me in high school.

You make, like any other claimant of any other belief you rightfully reject, the perameter of the superstition you sell. Outsiders simply question it, like you question the claims of others you rightfully reject. To expect us to do differently than what you do yourself in rejecting the claims of others is absurd and dishonest.

Yep I have never proven my position on this forum all I do is define it. And then I give my opinions and debate the issue at hand from my defined position. Wink

We all know what your position is... we just don't acknowledge it as representative of reality.
You do claim that your theist position is representative of reality, do you not?

I make the same claims as you but if at the end I die and you are correct ; I may have lost a small amount in the time I lived do to the mistake. But if i'm correct then what? yes its pascals wager but i'm not talking proofs or even a good reason for considering Theism. Just a little poke to make you think.

When you die do you wish that it is the end?
