My house has not got a head, ornamental carvings are frowned upon in this little bit of urban sprawl to the east of London. Although paintings of heads on houses is de rigueur I am told in part much of Nepal

That means that if an intruder breaks into the house, the Man is the one who should confront the intruder and not let the Women face the danger. In simple terms, the Man is the protector.
