Essentially yes; however, I'm not trying to burden the already difficult task of getting all humanity to get along with a special nature contradicting rule book inspired by an unprovable entity with a penchant for foreskin.

I appreciate your valuable public service if this prevents even one more theist from claiming atheism too is an unjustified belief.
As you note, it is far from universally endorsed by atheists. Many really want to be a 7 on the atheist chart. They hate the idea of anyone standing on a higher wrung of this ladder than themselves. They really want to project the same swagger and make the same sort of proclamations as the worst sort of theist. Unfortunately gnosticism on either side is damning. |
