You have yet to provide any evidence that it does.

Regardless of whether their basis lies in any sort of actual absolutes, society sets absolutes for moral standards. You may choose to ignore this, of course, but you will eventually be segregated with others that do the same.

Evidence?
Regardless, I highly doubt that people act simply by their own morals. People behave mostly based on the consequences of their actions. Those that choose to ignore those consequences do so at their own peril. For instance, one of these days, when you're out pushing little girls like the tough guy you are, one of those girls is going to have a giant brother that is a black belt in kung fu standing next to her, and he is going to feed your head to your asshole. And since you chose to behave as you wished and ignored the consequences, no one will shed a tear.

lol..
so people in modern society don't believe that morals are tenuous, or that they're subjective?
people don't believe that we choose our own moral codes? as for little girl, she was about 21, hardly a child.
Evidence?
I'd presume no surveys have been conducted. However, I'd imagine a high percentage of persons born in the late 20th/early 21st century endorse transient and non-objective morals.

Sounds to me like you're looking for excuses to do whatever the hell you want, and projecting your idea of a moral-less society on the rest of us.

So, in other words, you are once again just pulling shit out of your ass and asserting it as fact. That seems to be your M.O.

Quote:the point is though, this is denial in a literal sense. But the same applies in a figurative context also. Who says we cannot do as we please to persons who deny what we want?
The security, apparently.
You can do whatever you please to whoever you want, but given what you do to people, other people will do as they please to you. We already live in your ideal society, you just haven't acknowledged that the 'repercussions' of your actions are simply others doing as they please to you.
