The problem CSJ is that most Christians are not young earth creationists, even the early fathers took Genesis 1 alone as being 6,00 years and I know quite a few Old world creationists who see Genesis 1 as generalized to speak of stages where "day" is used to mean so many different things...however the Geological column supports chicken as the answer (just say'n)...fully formed creatures suddenly appear (even in the Cambrian) nothing in science can demonstrate the egg came first so I go with chickenWink Shades

The evolution of eggs pre-dates the evolution of birds by millions of years,so the egg came first.
What about this do you not understand?

The egg came first, else where did the chicken come from? Also, dinosaurs laid eggs long before chickens existed.

Yes, despite the reality that the first one was awfully amobea seeming and non bird-seeming. It is indeed is quite peculiar.

I think the most important thing about the chicken and the egg is that they both taste great.

RE: Question for our resident creationist(s)
The most important thing is that I myself personally is that I get to personally tase them, I think. I get to selfishly taste them, which is phenomenologically the same thing as personally, I believe.
