I heard about this before. Many of my Christian friends don't believe atheists can be Conservatives or Pro-life. Just thought I share because I care.

I don't support abortion (unless it's pregnancy is caused by rape or mother's life is in danger). Atheism is just a lack of belief in a god/s.

I've heard plenty of atheists say they disagree with abortion, but unlike that guy's personal web page (and that is all it appears to be), they didn't support total abolition of it and agreed with a woman's right to choose.

I'm guessing if that guy or Max here is looking for atheist anti-abortionists to be a huge political group, they're probably mistaken. Most atheists support women's reproductive freedom.

If it helps you any I for one am not a 'pro-lifer'. While I can appreciate the ambivalence of a woman to terminate a pregnancy that would have become her child, I personally celebrate them all. I'm pro-biodiversity. Less humans = a more balanced planet for us all. (Suck it up ladies, or rather, suck it out.)

You know, the kind of delusion that makes you think that an atheist forum is full with "christian friends" of yours might probably not have anything to do with religion.
