I've heard plenty of atheists say they disagree with abortion, but unlike that guy's personal web page (and that is all it appears to be), they didn't support total abolition of it and agreed with a woman's right to choose.

I'm guessing if that guy or Max here is looking for atheist anti-abortionists to be a huge political group, they're probably mistaken. Most atheists support women's reproductive freedom.

Can I just clarify here that I ain't looking for shit.

I can't help but think that sticking some rubber on the end of it or taking a pill wouldn't be an easier way to avoid giving birth to a baby you don't particularly want. Has someone explained this to them? I think someone should. And is having an abortion physically less uncomfortable a procedure than giving birth? They could have it done by c-section and give it up for adoption, they don't even have to see it.

I think someone should. And is having life saving operation less uncomfortable than being left to die? They could just walk and not have an accident at all. No, my mom had an abortion way back after my father and her started dating, used a diaphragm during sex, and she ended up pregnant. My mother cannot take birth control pills. My father, I am guessing, has a problem with condoms (some men cannot stay hard, no matter what, with a condom). When their methods failed again with me, they kept me because it was much later in life, they were married and had a bit of cash, and thus here I am.

As for turning out quite well - I'm a college dropout with a mental disorder requiring anti-psychotics. Take that as you will.

I heard about this before. Many of my Christian friends don't believe atheists can be Conservatives or Pro-life. Just thought I share because I care.
