Oh, sure. Trot out that old atheist of the gaps argument.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Kings and emperors always claimed to have some kind of supernatural authority or kinship to some kind of god.

It would something more to do with humans and how they make the most impression of power on their subjects not God. You have for instance the Egyptian Pharaohs gods incarnate.

He wasn't a zombie but a fully living man raised in full glory. Saint Paul claims there were around 300 people still alive at his time of writing who witnessed the risen Christ and he himself had a profound and radical life changing encounter with him. Paul was hunting Christians down not out looking for a conversion experience. People didn't seem to recognize Jesus straight away so either he looked slightly different or was wearing something that covered his face like a hood.
Quote:would really have been something to write about in those day , dont u think??
Not a lot people back then could write so they recorded the events orally at first. Saint Paul was the first to write about the events of Christs life and death around 20 years after the event so well within living memory.

He won't force people not to be sinful he can only show them the way. But in "the fullness of time" I think we have seen a great deal of improvement and progress. There is still room for improvement though you'll agree.

That's the nature of human sin for you, it's all very well covered and explained.
