Read Ezekiel 28. Satan was not created for the purpose of tormenting humans.

If you want to fault god for his role, you should stick to that. When you go further and try to minimize Satan's role, you're demonstrably wrong. It was Satan's idea, and Satan carried it out. The text is clear on this.

This ^^ is an example of the intellectual dishonesty which is the hallmark of religion especially Christianity. When the facts don't fit the view change the facts.

Are you referring to the prescription eyeglasses I always wear which happen to have lenses that darken in sunlight because my eyes are also sensitive to light?
