Please address everything in one post to make it clear
Ok, God did not send animals fom every piece of land from the entire world. God did say the world in the bible because it was meant for people he was writing it for in that pacific time. Because if He told them about all these other places in the real world the people wouldn't understand what he is talking about. They only knew about the land they lived on and that was basically their whole world to them.

Aw... well, since the thread is already derailed... might as well do it properly...
Someone (a christian, I think) said something about the bible texts having been written by people inspired by something they called a god.
I wonder if Mohammed was equally inspired when he "wrote" the qu'ran... He certainly does claim that he was inspired... and every muslim backs it up.
I wonder if christians accept that inspiration as "divine inspiration"...
I wonder if christians who refuse that Mohammed was inspired, can understand that their own "divinely inspired" writers... weren't.

That is conjecture based on underestimating humanity. There is some sort of misconception, which makes for great movies, whereby humanity is conceived as weak and unable to handle the unknown. Truth be told, humanity can handle anything thrown at it.
The only time resilience is truly tested is when the theist is confronted by reality. The theist is so ingrained in his belief that when faced with reality he tends to take one of three routes.
First, is cognitive dissonance, which is relatively harmless.
Secondly, he could go the way of violence, whereby he believes that since his god does not exist he is exempt from morality.
Thirdly, he understands the default position in which we are all born before indoctrination: atheism.

Well, you still haven't addressed everything but i'm going to let that slide.
Its clear what is going on here. You have realised that the whole world wide flood and ark scenario is utterly ridiculous and impossible. But this clashes with your religious views. So you have come to a compromise in which you can still justify believing in the ark story while maintaining your belief in your god.

The qu'ran ? Ya but it was not wittnessed by thousands of people or any one exept muhamad himself. When Jesus died his discples went through terrible deaths claiming that Jesus rose from the dead. And thousands of people witnessed Jesus doing miricles and do you want to know what the qu'ran says? In Suran of the Quran it claims that Jesus was born of a virgin and that he lived a sinless life and it says even muhamad sinned. how ever you spell his name . But it says that muhamad gave Jesus the power to heal people and gave Jesus power... how strange is that? taking credit for someone else. And who knows where muhamad came from and got his source all by himself?

This in no way clashes with any of my views or with the bible.

Cognitive dissonance. Your inability to accept reality makes you cling to something untrue even though you have been shown the untruth of it.

What about this isn't true .Your inability to believe the real story and wanting to believe anything that disproves the bible shows you don't even want to try to believe it. And this no way changes anything the bible says and I think if the bible did mention all the other animals and continents in the world he would be more specific.Don't you ever worry even if you could be wrong which I believe you are have to go into eternal Damnation?
