I'm the same, I do find the "wonderful, loving, pope" image a bit too good to be true, but in fairness he has been doing good things. I just hope other catholics follow his example and stop giving so much of a shit about willies in arses and focus on following the example this jesus fellow supposedly set. Well he's sold a few things and I read an article one time about him going out and feeding the poor, embracing ugly people etc... Far more than any other pope I've seen do in fairness to him.
Snowden would have been my choice.
Well, I was TIME's person of the year in 2006, and it ain't all that, so I wouldn't worry too much about it...
