Since joining this august forum, I've seen several attempts to take on the Staff over points of forum operations. I can't recall any of them ending well.

As I keep saying, if anyone has a problem they feel needs Staff intervention, report it. Just don't whine about it if Staff consensus doesn't jibe with your opinion.

What does Surat Al-Baqarah 2:111 say? It says:

"And they say, "None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is [merely] their wishful thinking, Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."

Christians are doing SHIRK. The highest sin because they associate Jesus with God. That is NOT believing in the prophets. If you believe in the prophet Jesus and you associate him with God, you are lower than the dust. Allah prefers you NEVER KNEW HIM than to know him and do Shirk. Surat Al-Baqarah2:113 says:

"The Jews say "The Christians have nothing [true] to stand on," and the Christians say, "The Jews have nothing to stand on," although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus the polytheists speak the same as their words. But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ."

In other words they both recite scripture, Bla bla blaa blablabla bllaaaaaa...but they don't know WHAT they're talking about. They are talking toys with a battery. Surat Al-Baqarah 2:114 says:

And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment.

Can you read? Do you have your glasses with you? WHO IS MORE UNJUST THAN THOSE WHO PREVENT THE NAME OF ALLAH FROM BEING MENTIONED IN HIS MOSQUES.

Am I doing such a thing? Preventing the name of Allah from being mentioned? I MENTION IT RIGHT HERE. But the Christians and Jews avoid doing so, which is why Surat Al-Baqarah comments on THEM.

The meaning and context of both of these sentences is exactly the same. Earlier on in the thread you were using the exact same tone. Warnings/threats it doesn't matter. Let's all just try and be civil and actually have some productive conversation than instead acting like 12 year olds.

^ Man that's what I thought too was like wtf...she's just mad because he used speech figures. She probably has borderline personality disorder with fear of rejection/persecution.

Y'know, if she lives in a threatening and abusive environment, the second one would feel much more ominous and threatening to her because it is non-specific.
