Hey Stimobni, I know I'm just a guy but you get much love from me. It's good to vent from time-to-time and if letting off some steam in the forum has helped (and even generated some useful commentary for you) then it's been worth it.

I have only one thing to add to Ivy's & Kichi's advice: don't hunt for a partner, just do things you love to do, do them in a variety of places and meet people. Everything else is emergent.

I find it so selfish and awful when people see a hurt person and turn things around and make it about themselves. "My life is worse!" Oh, please. You don't know his pain. Have you talked with him and heard his story? Yes, you might have a story of your own, but that doesn't make his superficial.

Sorry haven't slept in two days and the way he worded it made it seem like it was more about not getting female attention in general.

It's more than that. The love of his life died and he has had trouble going on with his life. It's more than sex. He wants affection. He wants to feel loved.

The internet probably isn't the place to find love. I'd try somewhere you've got an intreset book clubs or the like. But it sounds like you're not quite ready to date yet. You've still got "replacement goldfish" syndrome. Going into another relationship while still grieving isn't the best way to start things off.

I do agree with you in this. Stimbo needs to join a club or get involved in something in order to meet new people.

Stimbo will do as he sees fit girls. Right now I am thinking he is a bit low.
