You think this is your private preaching forum?

no, What I meant was, if you don't want to hear about Jesus, maybe you shouldn't frequent a forum labeled Christianity. And for the record, I haven't started any threads. And I would also say the majority of the bible related threads a brought up by atheists.

I noticed you dodged both the entire part you quoted, and my pointing our your fallacy in the same response. Dodgy

Also, I didn't think I needed to explain that atheists don't believe in any gods, and that making a rhetorical point about there being little difference between the christian god and a defunct roman one doesn't constitute worship. My mistake for thinking you were sharp enough to catch the subtlety of what was going on there.

Yes totally, the Christianity forum is here so Christians have a special place to talk about Jesus, not for atheists to discuss Christianity.

Hot Dogs are made of Dauchsunds, why else would they call them Hotdogs?

Atheists taking the piss out of Christians by reminding them how they appropriated a pagan holiday as their "Christmas" hardly amounts to worshiping a Roman god. What part of "atheist" don't you understand? Or are oblivious and simple-minded your default states?

as I stated, i'm fine with whatever deity someone chooses to worship, doesn't affect me one bit. You can't claim to be vegan while eating a steak, joke or not.

Every single one of your points could also be turned on the demonstrably larger christian apparatus, and yet you apparently have no trouble seeing the reasons why they do as they do... just not willing to spend even an iota of thought doing the same for a position you don't agree with, huh?

Ah well, it's hardly the only thing you don't think about, I'm sure. Rolleyes

I not sure if you remember, but in another thread I was working out some of the numerology in the Bible and came to the conclusion, that if the "rapture" happened, something like 18,000 people would be taken. I can't say for certain if that will be the case, but the math works. I do know that it will be a very small number. According to statistics, there are around 2.18 billion Christians worldwide. Do the math.
I already know the majority of Christian churches are false(referring to the leadership, not the lay-members), But I get where their motivation comes from.

Why are atheists out burning calories protesting something they don't believe is even true? no one protests Santa. Also why are they celebrating a roman god? You don't find that a bit strange?

Well math has a tendency to always work when you're just making stuff up.

2+2 = 905. It works.

Your last point seems to miss the issue so drastically that I think it'd be futile of any of us to say anything in response. But needless to say, you need to look up either how the implications of beliefs affect those who don't hold those beliefs, or parody.

And if you mime eating steak over a plate with nothing on it? Dodgy

Swear to god, I'm so fucking sick of having to correct christian analogies for them! Angry

I honestly think huggy bear is flying blind at this one. Surely even he can see that some of this points don't make any sense.
