Lee commanded the Confederate Army but these handful of facts DO NOT make Gone With The Wind into a true story. Likewise, some shithead writing a story about your carpenter coming back to life does not make it true because Herod, Pilate, or anyone else a real person.

You really need to learn what "fiction" entails.

I know he can read, but how would he know about those people? His hatred of religion would preclude him from knowing about them.

Well, how do you know about those people? Just because you're a Christian doesn't give you some supernatural access to information that the rest of us can't obtain. What has his being an atheist got to do with obtaining knowledge?
