Well, Jesus fulfilled the experience of Joseph- rejected by his brothers, then elevated.
The next phase, after this long "Church age", will be he reveals himself to his brothers- the Jews.
Just as Joseph did after removing his bride (his wife) from their presence.
Isaiah 53 shows Him as the suffering servant. The "Lamb of God". Fulfilled.
Phase II -
He is the "Lion of Judah" the conquering king, who will tear all the kingdoms of this world out from the wicked who now control them, coming soon to a theater (of war) near you.
Adam's lease was for 6 "Days" - 6 thousand years.
Jesus returns as King when the lease is up.

Citations needed for all that?
The idea of Jesus being the suffering servant is debatable, and I'm not sure where Adam's "lease" comes from, or how 6 days is like 6 thousand years.

The "suffering servant" is the nation of Israel in captivity - not fucking jesus. Get your head out of your ass.

Ya, it wouldn't make any sense, it would be like a cat hitting a dog with a hammer on the head for catching a mouse.
Completely crazy.

Isaiah 53:
"He was wounded for our transgressions.... by his stripes we are healed....
The Lord has laid the inequity of us all on him.........
In this section of Isaiah- "He" is personal singular and "Us" is the nation of Israel- of which Isaiah- included himself within the nation in his prophesy.
To think otherwise requires twisting logic. Or circular reasoning.
"He" cannot be "Us" at the same time.
"He" being the Lamb of God -fulfilled the pattern of the sacrificed lambs of the Old Testament which were slain to cover the sins of ISRAEL- those under that covenant.
To say "He" is Israel and "Us" is the gentiles, again twists logic.

No, you got it all wrong, God doesn't send his son to die for the sins of other people, he's not mentally challenged. Listen, Jesus was a Muslim. When he died he yelled "eli eli, lamassa bahtani?". Eli! Allah! Does eli sound like ABBA? Like father in Hebrew? He was praying to Allah!
Jesus was a Muslim and came as a prophet. He never claimed divinity. Out of 10,000 people in the world, who DO claim divinity, why do you have to pick the one who never did? He said he's the son of God, like I'm the son of God, like you're the son of God, anybody bound by the spirit of God is the son of God.
Jesus said stay not in the way of the gentiles, and he said in John 16:12 "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."
He was speaking of prophet Muhammad, that's why he said not to bother with the Arabs, because a prophet was scheduled for them too, for the gentiles. And prophet Muhammad is mentioned by name in the Bible, in the song of Solomon, chapter number 5, verse number 16 which says in Hebrew:
"Hiku mamtakeem vihulo Muhammadin, zedudi vei zeirii benok Jerusalaim."
Din is the plural of respect in Hebrew and Muhammad is the name of the prophet sent to the gentiles. He is Muhammad! Oh daughters of Jerusalem. He is Muhammad!
I hope this cleared the misconception that God is mentally challenged and sends his son to die for what someone else did and that you realized you're worshiping a prophet. If you love faith so much, then put a scarf on your head and deprave yourself all the way. Finish what you started.

Of course the real underlying meaning of all this is because when Jesus said things were going to end soon, he meant real soon. In the next fifty years or so.
Not so, only in your uninformed imagination.

It doesn't take imagination on our part; all we need is a brain and the ability to read and comprehend what is written. All the imagination is on the writer's side, in this case.
How would you have interpreted the second coming from a cursory reading? If a pastor hadn't told you what Jesus actually meant, would your own "imagination" have taken a very different route nowadays?

Exactly, apparently, no christian understands the context of John 10:30. Or they all act like they don't.

"One of us. One of us. One of us." That's not a problem, though, since he was GOD. That's like being a package of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that never runs out. You're damned right that's a position of power. If I had infinite RPBCs I'd be insufferably self-righteous.
In any case, what god did was put on a human costume and prance around and make fun of us. First he got a lady pregnant before his own balls even dropped. Then he was doing stuff that humans can't do (but he could, because he was really god wearing a human costume, tee-hee!) like walk on water and cure blindness. Then he was all like "lol go ahead, whip me and crucify me and see if I give a shit!" And then when they did all that he napped for three days and then was all like "BAM! I'm back!"
Then, instead of just taking off the costume and making himself king of the world and fixing everything right then and there, he was all like "later guys, gonna grab some popcorn and watch you all fumble around like retards until I'm ready to return lol." And he floated off on a cloud, just to remind us one last time that boy, it really sucks to not be god. Everyone was so pissed that it took like 70 years before they could even bring themselves to write anything about him.
But honest, he does sound like he'd be a cool guy to hang out with, as long as you are one of his tight homies.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
