Jesus should have been a king.

The OP forgets that Jesus is the King of Kings That is why we call Him Lord.

Jesus is the King of Kings the same way I am Emperor of the Dwarf Monkeys. If he never rose to rulership during his life time, then how do you expect us to believe this line of crock? Even if you could prove his lineage has royalty in it, why does that matter if he never subjugated anyone or anything?

Actually, Chad, that's a line from Revelation and according to you guys it hasn't happened yet so, no. He's not the king of shit at this point.

Quote:19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

He subjugated the devil and won victory over death. That takes more power than any earthly king ever had.

How would you have interpreted the second coming from a cursory reading? If a pastor hadn't told you what Jesus actually meant, would your own "imagination" have taken a very different route nowadays?

Exactly, apparently, no christian understands the context of John 10:30. Or they all act like they don't.

It's answered in John 10:31-38.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

No, like the pastors I rely on God's revelation of His word, unlike you who believes they can understand the mind of an omniscient God without His revelation.

To me it says they are one in purpose. Look, the Jews weren't very smart 2,000 years ago, so Jesus had to come up with retarded expressions, expressions you come up to explain things to children or mentally challenged individuals, because the Jews couldn't hack onto the message. It was too deep for them.

Christians take metaphors literally, and literal statements metaphorically. Can't you just understand what the man was trying to say? Yes, the MAN, son of fucking MAN.

Retards.

(May 16, 2014 at 8:29 am)Ksa Wrote: No, you got it all wrong, God doesn't send his son to die for the sins of other people, he's not mentally challenged. Listen, Jesus was a Muslim. When he died he yelled "eli eli, lamassa bahtani?". Eli! Allah! Does eli sound like ABBA? Like father in Hebrew? He was praying to Allah!

A Muslim in the Bible, yeah right. Eli-means my God, not Father, you're delusional.

KSA Wrote:Jesus was a Muslim and came as a prophet. He never claimed divinity. Out of 10,000 people in the world, who DO claim divinity, why do you have to pick the one who never did? He said he's the son of God, like I'm the son of God, like you're the son of God, anybody bound by the spirit of God is the son of God.

He never claimed to be a prophet, He did claim to be the Son of God, sent by the Father, John called Him the creator of all things, wonder how John knew that and being creator of all things qualifies as divine.

KSA Wrote:Jesus said stay not in the way of the gentiles, and he said in John 16:12 "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."

He was speaking of prophet Muhammad, that's why he said not to bother with the Arabs, because a prophet was scheduled for them too, for the gentiles. And prophet Muhammad is mentioned by name in the Bible, in the song of Solomon, chapter number 5, verse number 16 which says in Hebrew:

Muhammad was flesh and blood and is dead, Jesus spoke of the Holy Spirit. How is it that Muhammad was going to speak to Christ's apostles, they were dead for centuries before he stumbled along. Jesus was telling His apostles not to live as the gentiles do, they were still Jewish, God's chosen people to bring the Word of salvation to the world.

KSA Wrote:"Hiku mamtakeem vihulo Muhammadin, zedudi vei zeirii benok Jerusalaim."

Din is the plural of respect in Hebrew and Muhammad is the name of the prophet sent to the gentiles. He is Muhammad! Oh daughters of Jerusalem. He is Muhammad!

Strange how you interpret that verses, so much different than the scholars do. Song of Solomon chapter 5:16 "His palate is full of sweetness. And he is wholly desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
This is a woman describing her lover, I see nothing about Muhammad. Actually the whole chapter is about this woman and her description of her lover. Also if Muhammad was sent to the gentiles why would the Israelites be told about him. You seem to be a desperate little person.

KSA Wrote:I hope this cleared the misconception that God is mentally challenged and sends his son to die for what someone else did and that you realized you're worshiping a prophet. If you love faith so much, then put a scarf on your head and deprave yourself all the way. Finish what you started.

All you've done is try and confuse and Christ and Paul warned of people like you, yep that's right you're spoken of in scripture and not kindly I might add.

The Jews were certainly more intelligent than yourself, you are a racist and bigot, you should quit running down a race of people just because you do not like them.
