3 Questions For Believers (A work in progress.)

RE: 3 Questions For Believers (A work in progress.)
I'm sure there must be R. I'm not interested in the subject enough to give you a good answer. To me it's clearly superstition and I'm confident on where to draw the line.

On two different occasions when I was replying to a post in a thread on this forum, I was making a statement about a particular christian doctrine and I unintentionally deleted my whole statement. I was upset, but started again and when I was nearly through I unintentionally deleted again. On the third try I made some changes pertaining to the doctrine I was referencing and it worked. Before I go on this forum I always pray for God to lead me and keep from misrepresenting him. I believe that both times God was intervening.

So..everything that you do post is tacitly endorsed by God, since he allows you to post it?

What about other occasions when your posts failed to go through the first time? Did the resubmission end up working anyway (regardless of any changes to your post)?

This also assumes you ended up making the correct changes to your statements. You may have made some changes that were erroneous or were negligible regarding the content of the doctrine.

Finally, it's just two incidents so far, so even in the absence of contrary incidents, it is an extremely small sample of incidents to come to such a conclusion.

How many times does it have to happen? Also it's just a couple incidents combined with others. Most people would probably just say it was coincidence, but these experiences are not the only reason I believe in God, but rather part of the whole package.

What was the most powerful aspect of this experience? What was it that ultimately led you to conclude that you were having a brush with the divine (twice, since joining these boards-is it)?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

They weren't particularly powerful experiences for me, but since I had prayed for God's guidance, I felt that is what it was. I wouldn't refer to these experiences as "brushes with the divine" since he's with me all the time, but sometimes he takes more extreme measures, if I fail to pay attention. I believe these were a couple of those times.

LOL - god eat my homework?

Even the most imaginative of Christians would recognize that's nothing to do with your god, that's your own damn incompetence.
