I felt God several times in the past. But it turned out it was just an intense feeling. I wanted to believe, so I believed.

So I can only surmise that this is the same thing going for you as well as I don't have evidence there is such a God.

Christians don't seem to get that no one is disputing the good feels they get. Of course, you feel great, you think God created the Universe for YOU and that he's super concerned about YOU. If you think we don't understand that, you're about 10 steps behind everyone.

You didn't answer the question. How are you sure that the 'presence' you're feeling is your Christian God and not another?

Also, a personal experience that is unique to an individual is nothing like scientific, so don't use that bad analogy.

Lol. Clearly more research is needed before anyone is justified in fervently demanding one theory be embraced over all the others, if they're equally supportable, when the facts are not fully understood. I bet that reflects your beliefs (which are not scientific theories) though, yeah?
