Take "God" out of the equation altogether and there will be no sin. There, that's another way your god could save us all.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Mankind has and only one grew up not in sin and rebellion towards God.
So it's not a choice at all, then. Yes, He died to pay for the sins of humanity He invented in the first place. The horror of death for human beings is that it is permanent. Jesus can revive himself at his own leisure, so why does his death matter?
