I have no clue man. Very strange.

The dude fancied himself a celebrity in these circles, and you crapped all over him/his ego, for the sake of this community.

Which is The unforgivable sin that every person who takes himself way too seriously puts in the form of a chip on their shoulder. You knocked it off.

Oh and btw I am on your ignore list...

That's why I said I do what I can, and not 'I ran off a YouTube celebrity douche bag off on my own.'

I honestly don't feel like I crapped on him - perhaps he knew better Thinking

Also, not to be all like I told you so, but if we had a place on this website for spammers like this (in conjunction with our 30/30 law) could actively spam. we could sift out, seperate and maybe even welcome spammers like this youtube guy. Obviously he was here to spam, and if he had a place where he could do that maybe you all would not have been so critical with him, and I could have been the bad/good guy (depending on pov) and he could have been like: well maybe AF.org isn't just a place where I can cull suff video victims I mean 'writers and broadcasters' for my anti God/youtube work.

I have to say, whether anyone cares or not, this has been one of the worst experiences of my life. In case anyone cares about the truth of the matter, I would like to draw your attention to a couple of points:

First and foremost, although I admittedly did not read the forum rules ahead of time, I would point out that my post was fully in compliance with Rule 5: "No advertising." I clearly qualified for the exception that is described in your rules as "One very important exception to the the 30/30 requirement". At the very worst, I could have been faulted for providing a personal email address for offline conversation, given that the idea is to keep the conversation in the forum. I was not spamming, and rexbeccarox's very friendly and engaging responses made it clear that she did not think I was spamming or shilling. In fact she went out of her way several times to defend my honor, for which I offer due gratitude to her.

Second, LastPoet, you publicly denounced me, even going so far as to hope that I am not indeed GreatBigBore on YouTube, but you based your denunciation on something entirely untrue. I never made a single complaint about the forum rules or your enforcement of them. Thank you for being such a sport by PM, telling me that the truth of this matter is "irrelevant" to you. Becca, I still don't understand how at the beginning of the conversation you were very helpful and kind, but at the end of the conversation you decided that I am simply shilling and spamming. I wonder why you didn't notice it at the beginning. Maybe because I ran afoul of LastPoet, who finds the truth irrelevant?

ShaMan, you have built quite an edifice of disrespect in my honor, but please note that I intended no offense when I used the word nazi. I realize that you and I are victims of the problem of conveying tone-of-voice over the internet. I thought that "busted" and the exclamation point would convey my intent, but it did not. In support of my innocuous intentions, please note that in my last response to you, although admittedly an angry response, I described my nazi comment as "friendly banter". That's how it was intended. You said that if I had legitimately defended myself you would consider an apology. Presumably you won't consider this a legitimate defense, but presumably you haven't read this far anyway.

And everyone, call me a baby all you like for "taking my toys and going home". Sites ban trolls all the time when they abuse people. There's no difference between that and me wanting to be removed from this site when I feel abused. Maybe it's a dumb request, and yes, you're all quite correct that I can just leave, which I do plan to do. The only reason I'm typing all this is because I'm desperate to get it out of my system.

Goodbye.

Um... lucky you? Wish my life was so blessed that momentarily dealing with forum rigmarole counted as a notable hurdle. Undecided

Don't get me wrong, I like your videos, I'm subscribed to your channel and all, but come on: this is all a bit silly.

I believe I explained well and fully via PM why posting links isn't allowed until you've fulfilled the 30/30 rule. I respect LP very much, but he had nothing to do with why I'm disappointed. It only had to do with your own admission. I didn't think you were shilling or spamming until you admitted such to me.

Like I told you via PM, I still have mad respect for you, but this is a community, and we have our rules for that very reason: we don't want post-and-runners; we want people who will contribute to the discussions. I still think you can be one of those people. If you're not one of them, why should we be inclined to help you? We can be an extremely supportive group if you just let us. A lot of this could have been avoided had you even just made an intro post, or if you had asked permission of me or one of the other mods to post your link. Still, though, we wouldn't have allowed it had we known you were only here to ask a favor of a close-knit community who tend to be wary of spamming and trolls. We get a veritable shit-ton of both of those things; another reason for the 30/30 rule.

I really am sorry this all went to shit. I was really excited when I saw your name on a new thread, but if your intentions were as you stated to me, we were right to be on the defensive. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but them's the breaks.
