No I haven't read any books that you have listed for two reasons, I have never come across any and I want to build my faith up not read this time of books until I have at least finidhed my read oc the Bible.

Yet you've already come to the conclusion that your faith is correct. But you are concerned with truth. Riiiiiiight.

No because I believe him to be true no matter what.

There. You do not care if it's true or not. No matter what the evidence says, even if every single shred of discussion and investigation pointed to the opposite, even if every single Christian deconverted tomorrow and you were the only person on Earth that believed in your God, with mountains of proof against it...you'd still believe? Why? Wouldn't you want evidence for your beliefs?

Then you must have some compelling reason to believe that. Is anyone else justified in believing for the same reason? If so, can you give what it is so it can be evaluated?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

If every Christian deconverted I would still believe in God. The reason for this is that I have no reason to doubt.

You didn't respond to the rest of my question.

Even if there was indisputable evidence against the existence of God, in every field and possible avenue of investigation, you would still believe.

As for 'reason to doubt', the hypothetical premise of my question is that we have the evidence that shows you are wrong. Why would you still believe.

OK, let's start with the utter lack of evidence for the existence of Yahweh. (I can type slower if you require)

So you're saying that even if it was proven that God does not exist, proven to your standards that he doesn't exist, you would choose to believe in him?

. . . which would be in inverse proportion to your apparent rationality. Gotta be proud! Oh, and those reasons for your belief? Waiting . . .

I have strong faith that the Earth is flat and at the centre of the Universe. Nothing anyone can do or say will shake that faith. I would still believe it to be true even if you showed be incontrovertible proof otherwise.

See how open-minded that sounds? I'm not being an independent thinker or anything; I'm just being stubbornly, demonstrably, factually and fractally wrong.
