Christians. Could you be wrong?
RE: Christians. Could you be wrong?
Yes, that forgiveness which you do not deserve, necessitated by misdeeds which you do not now and have never had any intention of doing any penance for, either in this world or the next.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Your religion invented a disease (sin), then they try to sell you a made up cure.

It is the perfect con. And you fell for it hook, line and sinker.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I am firstly not a fish, my church doesn't gain anything from me being a christian.

What -- no tithing? Bad, bad sheep! Now, about those reasons for believing?

I don't tithe because I don't earn money.

I told you my reasons for believing already

Ok, so in this scenario your beliefs and mine are in conflict. One of them is true and the other false, unless there's some third option neither of us has considered. Since you care about whether your beliefs are true, how would we set about finding out which is which?

You had to resort to the bible because without it the concepts of sin and concomitant forgiveness don't exist in reality. Sin is the brand name applied to thoughts and actions contrary to the pronouncements in the bible. Take away the bible, take away sin. That's true forgiveness for your sins, if you're looking for such a thing.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I am not really sure, maybe look at satellite feeds.

I believe sin still exists with or without the Bible.

There's a wide gulf between people doing bad things/bad things happening and "sin".

But you needed the validation of the bible to learn what sin even is. It's like saying that fear and anger lead to the Dark Side of the Force; it only makes sense in the context of that mythology.

And why would satellite imagery shake my faith in a flat geocentric Earth?

It's like listening to a childrens' bible parrot itself over and over.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.
