Wait...wait..you think that the only way a pattern can emerge is if the bees are ticking out numbers in their heads...doing reproductive math? You don't think that it has anything to do with the manner in which bees produce, and the way we might be able to express that mathematically?

Bees, btw...all have 2 parents. They reproduce sexually.........Facepalm

Wrong, males come from a unfertilized egg, meaning they have no father....

Drones are male honey bees. They develop from eggs that have not been fertilized, and they cannot sting, since the worker bee's stinger is a modified ovipositor (an egg laying organ).

LOL, mea culpa, mea culpa. Haplodiploidy. So, armed with that knowledge....interested in making a remark on any other portion of my post?

I think the fact that you called me ignorant, and at the same time displaying your ignorance, means I can pretty much dismiss your post.

Facepalm You mean that it surprises you...in a such redproductive scheme (that you so kindly corrected me upon) whereby males are the product oif an unfertilized egg...that the pattern 1, 3, 5 -onward arises?

Tell me, how about females? What's that pattern look like?

No, it doesn't. How does the existence and labeling of a pattern indicate an intelligent designer? You haven't addressed this point. This pattern is simply a label we use, we made it up to explain certain phenomena. It is completely arbitrary to how we perceive the universe. So how does it indicate an intelligent designer?

He actually did address that point.......we'll just have to wait for him to realize it.

It indicates an intelligent observer...

But shhhhh, guys... keep it under wraps... they can't handle that.

We are led to believe that the creation of the universe and everything in it, are nothing more than a chain of random events, but yet upon closer examination we see the same sequence of numbers (or ratio) in the shape of the universe, down to shape of DNA, yet were supposed to believe this is random? just a matter of physics?

Then explain why the honey bee reproduces in the same sequence? and why the ratio of the females divided by the males come out to the same ratio? reproduction has nothing to do with physics.

-You- just explained why the pattern expresses itself in honeybee reproduction Huggy....

Quote:males come from a unfertilized egg

-and in doing so, established that it was not random - and not the product of some intelligent designer. It is the product of haplodiploidy, in this instance.

Why do these people always do this?

I could write a master's thesis on how reproduction is ALL about physics, but I won't...
Learn.
You can start by learning the basics of Quantum Mechanics - Notice that this IS PHYSICS!.
Then Chemistry... a simplification of a few large scale physical QM events.
Then Biochemistry. Once here, learn about self-replicating carbon-based chemistry.
Then Biology. This is where you learn about reproduction.

Go learn. Come back in 4 years.
