To explain knowledge of God

Learning about this Satan character comes from a myriad of sources including the Bible.
Do you know nothing about the civilizations that went before the veneration of Darwin?

I suppose the question would be how many cultures DIDN'T have evil spirits?

The naturalist, unable (unwilling?) to grasp anything he can't fit in a test tube, just rejects everything which went before his superior "Enlightenment".
when you see Beyonce , and a number of other celebrities making the illuminati triangle, winking at you or holding their hands in the triple 6 mode, or the devil horned hand sign (done also by many world leaders, beside entertainers)- these people are signaling their allegiance to something unseen.
The symbol of which is on the U.S. dollar.

As for rejecting your destiny because you think it is demeaning, I think the opposite way- God is inviting goofy me into union with Himself.
See, the way UP is to go lower, the way DOWN is to elevate yourself.
Satan sought to elevate himself over God and was cast down.
Jesus lowered Himself to become a man and will forever be elevated.

I urge you to seek mental health care.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

I agree with chas. Seek help from a mental health care professional.

None of them had evil spirits. But a lot of them thought that evil spirits were to blame for everything from a mild cough to earthquakes. Or do you still think that the earth is flat and covered by a dome upon which god rests his feet?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Trusting the diary of someone who obsessively bitches about her ex boyfriend? Thanks, I'll pass. Mark Twain had this to say.

"I have no special regard for Satan; but I can at least claim that I have no prejudice against him. It may even be that I lean a little his way, on account of his not having a fair show. All religions issue bibles against him, and say the most injurious things about him, but we never hear his side. We have none but evidence for the prosecution and yet we have rendered the verdict. To my mind, this is irregular. It is un-English. It is un-American; it is French."

Just food for thought Proff.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Oh, prof, you really do say the darndest things!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

He did not fail MY promise test.. MY promise test has one adhearing to his end of what is recorded in the bible. to date no one who says they sought God has actually followed the steps as outlined in luke 11.

Quote:Or are you telling me this so we can re-examine what it is you 'did for me jesus character?'
Quote:What??? How about you examine your own delusions before claiming I have one.
You JUST made the claim that you tested God and He failed. I am asking to 'test' your test.

If it is as you say then you should have no issue allowing to scrutinize your testing efforts.

If God really wants me to know he exists, he knows where I live. I'll be waiting.

Wait. Is your argument that because every culture in the past was superstitious, even though most of them believed wrong things, that this must mean some superstitions are correct, and those happen to be your superstitions?

Because that's one helluva leap to make. Especially given that there are so many "wrong" superstitions out there that it seems illogical to assume any of them are right.
