Oh my god this is becoming a drag.
Aoi magi becoming god like equates to having a close union with god. Isn't being god like a form of continuous worship?
We will not be praying 24/7. First of all- outside the time scale, there's no 24 or 7. But your thinking is negative i feel. You imagine sitting on a cloud looking at god with awe. But think about meeting loved ones, hearing the stories of a billion other humans, chat with god, traverse the multiverses, work with others in projects ( i dont know what)eat, sleep and enjoy doing everything you wanted to do. And then after a trillion trillion trillion years we'll still have lots to do because god is infinite and he has created everything and can create in the future.

Hmm sounds better than the other stories of eternity. Problem is according any one of those faiths, all my loved ones are pretty much in hell already.

Ye be caste a little one for all eternity, you will. :-) Not exactly, in Hinduism not only do the hindus get to be part of the grand soul, but everyone and everything. Also failure doesn't equate to no grand merger for eternity, everything is supposed to return to it either way when the world ends at the end of time.
Now this end-of-time thing is pretty much like the western version, predicted to occur every couple of years and then gets postponed, the current date is for 2037 I think, last time it was 2012 to keep up with the trends...
PS: I am not claiming any of that to be true, I am just saying how the myth is setup.

Arguing over the details of a superstition club is like having an argument over which is real "The force of Star Wars vs the Tribbles of Star Trek"
Hinduism is just another myth club.

Perhaps of Hinduism it is more appopriate to say the consequence lies in the next life rather than the afterlife. As I understand it, one does not progress up in caste in the next life without first excelling or some such thing within the caste they currently find themselves.

I particularly dislike the Hindu system because it allows believers to blame people in unfortunate circumstances for having been substandard in their last life. It's prosperity theology on steroids.

Actually the caste system, "sati daha" e.t.c are later additions (after Manu came into the picture), in "sanatan dharma", your "karma" or actions determine how long you stay in each phase of the cycle of "sukha"(happiness) or "dukha"(suffering), which may continue on to your next life from your previous life (a good way to evade when you can't explain someones suffering despite their actions). The closest thing to the caste thing was being born as animals or other things, but those weren't determined by karma either.
Hinduism is pretty slippery and hard to pin down, because there is just too much text and it gives complete freedom to cherry-pick as well.

I find it particularly amusing that the caste system boils down to priests at the top, military directly beneath, tradesmen beneath that, and unskilled labor at the bottom. How very spiritual and enlightened. Couldn't imagine, other than a dispatch from the cosmos itself, how such a system might have originated.....
That's being abandoned by hindus of late in any case. Amusingly, christians (in India) seemed to stick with the caste system (or conversely abandon it) at approximately the same rate as hindus. Talk about a crossover act.

So you were wrong about Hinduism.
Is it possible you are also wrong about Christianity?
