Your stance on Hard Atheism

RE: Your stance on Hard Atheism
That discussion nonwithstanding, I'd still like to know what OPs definition of hard atheism is. The question is imprecise, and I don't think we should be required to provide the clean definition for the OP.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

You need a position Substantive enough to not be dismissable in a word or two in order to participate in any discussion, you fuckwit!

I'm beginning to think my above comment applies to you as well.

Not precisely enough by far. Please elaborate.

No, you are positing they are the same because a religious book says so. Allah was the name of a Persian pagan moon god long before the existence of Islam or any connection to Judeo-Christianity.

You are require to make no contraversal assertions if evidence does not exist. You are required to provide evidence if you make contraversal.

What assertion did I make that was controversial?

Any assertion you make which is not believed on its face value, and which your audience require from you supporting evidence, is contraversal. Are you truly that thick?

Evidence for motivations do exist.
Haven't you ever heard jihadists claiming they are following the words of allah, and terrorist groups claiming they are doing so because their lord(god) commanded it? Haven't you read the bible and the religious wars mentioned there in?

I am just asking for evidence of atheism based motivations for your said "atheist groups".

And Yahweh was originally and ugarit god. Ugaritic texts, discovered in the ruins of the ancient city of Ugarit in 1928, have shed new light on the origins and development of the early Jewish religion. The chief god was El, and his wife was Asherah. They had seventy divine children, characterized as the stars of El. Among them was Baal, Astarte, Anat, the sun-goddess Shapshu, the moon god Yerak, and Yahweh. The servants of the divine household of the gods were messenger-gods. These appear to be what the Old Testament later refer to as angels.

And once again, how about your stance that many christians believe in the existence of many gods in light of this? Isaiah 45:5: I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.

Not letting you off the hook.

Claiming factual knowledge that a god or gods cannot possibly exist. As irrational as that is, it is much more common than you would think.

So we are at lower case gods now. What is your definition of those?

Actually, I am posting this because linguists and historians (educationally - though not professionally - I fall into the second category) agree on this issue, it's got bugger all to do with what books on religion say..

'Elohim' (the Hebrew cognate of 'Allah') originally referred to an entire Canaanite pantheon. But the fact remains that Bibles printed in Arabic use 'Allah' for 'God' and it is universally understood to mean the God of Abraham.
