For me it is a weak argument against Pegida since 5 percent is much. It means about 1 in 20 person in Germany is Muslim.

These 5% include dangerous muslim extremist people like Cem Özdemir and Muhammed Suicmez, right?

Well I don't think just because someone is a minority group they're not threatening - It depends. I can't talk about it because I'm not German. I sincerely hope that instead of seeing anti-Islam movements motivated by xenophobia I'd see intellectually consistent criticism of religion as it is supposed to be
