Jesus told her nothing because Jesus doesn't exist.

According to the article she had over a seventy percent chance to live so she wouldn't have been on chemo her entire life. It sounded as if she and her parents wanted her to live but believed alternative medicine would have helped her survive

My brain is full of fuck. This poor girl was let down by her parents, her Dr's and the system. Oh and the fucking woo salesmen who told them there was an alternative. This fucking stinks.

All depends your point of view. She was the one going through the chemo and she was the one who had the vision. You think that she should have been forced to continue treatment because the best thing for her would be to remain here and live out her life. That's because you believe that the only thing we have to live for is right here. She is with Jesus now. Even if you are right and she was wrong, she doesn't care now anyway. Is someone who lives to be 100 luckier that someone who dies at 11?

What makes you think the parents were ignorant? Because you read an artical from some blog and think you have a full understanding of what is going on? Again I showed that her numbers per the artical were doctored... which means you do not even have an accurate view of her situation let alone enough info to judge those who did. If her parents and the doctors let her make this choice it was because a real recovery or real life was not likly.

Nothing like accusing others of making assumptions and then going on to make assumptions yourself, am I right?

Her parents were ignorant because they allowed an eleven year-old to make a life and death decision. It doesn't matter what her choice was or what the odds of survival were, she was psychologically incapable of understanding the consequences of her actions, and the parents refused to step in because of wishful thinking that they would be miraculously reunited in a magical paradise.

So, Jesus appears to 11 year olds in hospitals, but somehow doesn't care about dying children in Africa? They sure would like to know that life will be better after they die.

Remarkable. I can't believe you think an eleven year old should be given carte blanche to choose non treatment for a lethal but treatable condition .. all because there is a way to spin it in the xtian fairy tale. Shameless.

Wait. Lek and Drich seem to be suggesting that jesus told the kid to stop treatment so she could die. That doesn't seem accurate to me. They started other bullshit therapies. I think jesus was telling her the chemo was hurting her, and that other method would work better. Otherwise, the whole story makes no sense.

Given that premise, jesus is a liar of course. Just goes to show again that prayer, faith and believing in fairy tales doesn't help anybody.

So, wait: does anyone else see how fucking creepy this is? Drich's view of christianity fully allows for Jesus to appear to sick little girls in visions and talk to them, urging them to kill themselves. That's literally what Drich is saying here.

I mean, he's wrong anyway: for all his farting on about other people needing to read the story again it's super obvious he hasn't done so, because if he had he'd know that the child didn't opt out of treatment altogether in order to be with Jesus sooner, as he claims. In actual fact the child merely eschewed the scientifically proven treatments, unpleasant as they were, and went with alternative treatments provided by quacks working out of massage parlors. She didn't stop treatment, she stopped effective treatment.

So, once again Drich is wrong, but the path he took in his wrongness exposes yet another horrifying, creepy facet of the way he thinks his religion works. Good job, Drich. You're doing more for the case against christianity than any of us ever could.

Belief in heaven can be bad for your health, both physically and morally.
