We obviously don't share the same definitions, so this could take some time! My definitions are as follows.
Atheist = Someone who asserts that there is no god
Believer = Someone who asserts that there is a god
Agnostic = Someone who can't make their mind up one way or the other
I sense this conversation may soon be moving into a debate about objective truth.

Here are the correct definitions.
Atheist = Someone that does not believe that god(s) exist.
Theist = Someone that does believe that god(s) exist.
Agnostic = Someone that believes that no one can know whether or not god(s) exist.

All atheists don't deny the possibility of any deity's existence. That would make all atheism illogical.
Many atheists, myself included, merely disbelieve in deities because they are not convinced by any claims of any and arguments for the existence of any.

That's an ambiguous sentence, so I can't answer it. It could mean there are no atheists who deny the possibility of any deity's existence, or it could mean not all atheists deny the possibility of any deity's existence. You need to be explicit about which of these you mean.

Don't be daft. He means that not all atheists make the claim that there is no god. Many of us say that we don't know for sure, but that we do not believe there is a god. We allow for the possibility, regardless of how small we may consider the probability.

Sorry. Yes you're quite right. I didn't mean to be ambiguous, I didn't realize the ambigiousness of that sentence.
I meant not all atheists deny the possibility of any deity's existence.
Atheists are those who do not believe in deities. So that applies whether they merely disbelieve or whether they go further than that and in addition deny the possibility.

Atheism is merely a disbelief in god(s) there are no conditions.
There's an old joke beloved of apologists:
God is dead (Sartre)
Sartre is dead (God)
There was indeed a popular 'God is dead' school of thought in the 1960's. A natural progression of existential philosophy for some.(Hence the Sartre joke) I think was it was actually Neitzsche who made the claim, viz that God was killed by the enlightenment. Sartre simply accepted the claim. I think that's about right; it's about 35 year since I read any philosophy. (I don't count Dawkins or Hitchens)
Yes, that was Nietzsche.

No problem. I assert there is no God. How I arrived at that assertion is less important to me than what follows from it. To me, an agnostic atheist is a contradiction in terms, an atheist atheist is a frivolous tautology.

As far as I think I'm aware, I'm just going by what the word agnosticism means:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnosticism
And the same with atheism, atheism is disbelief in deities. You don't have to deny the possibility of God's existence, that would be illogical.
