No. A very bad explanation completely lacking in evidence is not a good explanation, and it certainly isn't the "best" explanation. Even no explanation is better than such a terrible one. I'd rather say "I don't know" or "I don't know for certain" than claim a load of shit that I can't actually know and then either believe it's proven (when it clearly isn't) or put my "faith" in it.

We all live forever in space, as the last human alive with only a hologram, mechanoid and a cat for company.
I'm willing to take that leap in faith.

As a Muslim, I believe that there can be only one real God (which is Allah). I think of Him as the Ultimate Truth. So, just like there can be only one "Ultimate Truth" in the universe, I believe that there can be only one true God which is capable of producing everything in the universe.

Bullshit. Generally it is a silly illogical human trying to justify his or her worldview.

Why do I so desperately need saving? I haven't done anything wrong

Maybe at some point in your life someone has (i know there are some muslims here) but 99 percent of the time its a Christian in your life reminding you again and again maybe not directly but their there and you hear it. This sir, is you deploying a pathetic straw man argument about VOID by insinuating he has a "Desperate Dan condition" as opposed to treating him like a human being (an equal) by responding to his counterarguments instead of preaching your one-and-only life away.

What's wrong with intellectual humor? Do you even know what the term means?

A Christian posted a thread elsewhere that sums up my whole point in posting this:
JMM Wrote:To atheists, the idea of intelligent design is an absurd notion hardly worth their time for discussion. But we are then left with "How did the universe come to exist?" Several theories have emerged over the years, the most prominent of which seems to be the idea of a "BIg-Bang." That is, the idea of quantum fluctuations resulting in the spontaneous 'creation' of the universe we exist in. But is this theory not just as equally absurd as the intelligent design theory that their exists a "god" who created the universe and all life within it? It all boils down to two seemingly, equally far-fetched (to use this lightly) ideas:
A) Big-Bang- Principally, something came from nothing (illogical), and from this something, life emerged through evolution, continued to evolve and has led to where we are today.
or...
B) Intelligent design- A God created all things in the universe, including man, and endowed us with reason, knowledge and all of the qualities that define him.
Both theories are perfectly illogical and equally unprovable, so- why then do we choose one over the other and base our entire beliefs and often world-views on them? If your unaware, I am a christian and therefore a believer in Intelligent design
I dont think he has a proper understanding of the evidence surrounding the BB and how it actually shows God created the universe ex nihilio, but I agree with his main point and it is mine. You do not have a BETTER explanation.

If you agree with that guy, then to be blunt (despite a thread that was brought up recently) then you're a moron.
The difference between the Big Bang (which isn't that something came from nothing, like the guy you quoted) and Intelligent Design, is that one is formulated based off of scientific fact, and peer reviewed testing, and the other is just an idea that was tossed out there with nothing to back it up.
Also, the statement you said that "The big bang shows God created the universe" is a non-sequitor. That's like saying that because I got Dunkin Donuts this morning, that means a man from Colombia riding a horse made it for me.
Apparently you haven't been reading ANY of our posts, because you're still repeating the same crap from since page 1. We've answered you numerous times.
Before you even begin to post again, I suggest you go back and read the answers provided. You've obviously skipped and ignored everything told to you.
