You don't know what life would look like with a Christian society because there has never been a pure Christian society yet? Which if you were willing to understand what the Bible you could understand not mixing, not between just any fabric, linen and wool or abstaining from eating shell fish. If you had read the Bible you would know that it says in Romans that we do instinctively know what is just and unjust because it is written on our hearts.

Throughout the bible it's acceptable to kill anyone who worships other gods, or even just breaks a law like cleaning up the yard on the wrong day of the week. Jesus himself says it's better to drown someone in the river than allow them to lead someone away from christ. Even though jews worship Yahweh, they don't accept Jesus, so it's as open season on them as anyone else.

Killing homosexuals is fine. Intermingling with other tribes isn't ok, but enslaving them is. Making your wife drink "bitter water" if you think the baby might not be yours is ok.

You have to presuppose it's true in order to believe it's true. You have to work backwards from the conclusion, instead of following the evidence where it leads.

Satan was a murderer from the beginning? Really? Who did he kill before Yahweh sentenced two people to death for disobedience? Or drowned a whole world because of vague evilness?

Sin is a useless term. There may be some overlap between sin and evil, but you have a guy claiming that consenting same sex adults making love is an abomination while allowing rapists to marry their victims. Or allowing a warlord to carry young women off to be violated while having their family's blood on his hands.

You have ridiculous ideas like thoughts equaling actions, which is so easy to disprove I'm surprised anyone even had the gall to write that down.

The bible is a book of a god's repeated failures. He makes a garden with two people who don't know right from wrong, and tells them not to eat a fruit just because. It goes bad. he drowns the world because he doesn't like how things are going, but it goes bad once again. He sends his son to die, then watches as his followers kill each other over the proper way to worship him, while the rest of the world watches from the outside.

Am I "of the devil"? I don't know. I don't see the problem, aside from the idea that your god is going to punish me for existing unless I grovel before him without really knowing if he even exists.

If I turn out to be of the devil, then that's a bonus. He is clearly the hero of the story. No contest. Even when Yahweh is trying to slur him, he comes off superior.

The bible itsself says that what's in the book is going to sound really stupid to those who aren't believers, and that not many people are going to get into heaven overall, but there's no real attempt to fix that. So if he's going to be half-assed in his attempts to "save" everyone, why should I put my all into it?

If that's true then what's up with all of the prophets, saviors, and "holy" books?  If you instinctively know what is just and unjust then why do you need all of those things?
