Let's change everything about ourselves, so that we become the country these refugees just fled and are seeking asylum from.

I don't even think refugees would want that in the first place - Many may want freedom and opportunity, and maybe live in a more tolerant society where they can pray just once or twice a day instead of five times without having the government kicking your ass for it. It seems reasonable. If I was a Muslim, I'd probably want to be a live and let live one, so what better place to live than Europe's strongest economy, right?

If you're concerned about the reaction of the refugees to the locals then house the refugees where they won't interact with too many of the locals, especially kids.

Arguably, you may simply be using a broader definition of the word. It needn't be lust in the sense of overwhelming sexual desire as the main driving force and motivator.
