You on the other hand are a one trick pony. You look at Ehrman and he's got it all figured out in your mind. Because he happens to confirm what you want to hear. He's an expert on scripture, but he's done no field work and he's neither historian nor archeologist. His claims are one among many. That's why you can thrown around PHDs as much as you like, but as long as a cllaim doesn't meet scientific standards of peer review and majority consensus, it's just another claim. An interesting opinion, but certainly not a fact.

The problem with attempting to determine the nature of our God - not your Sistine Chapel God or God with an ornate heart on his chest and his arms around a lamb - is that any human attempt to describe/define God is a form of idolatry. What might be the consequence of that, Randy?
