"Universe" means "everything there is." By definition there cannot be anything beyond everything there is.
No matter how far you go in any given direction, you will still find yourself inside the Universe.

No Lek that's now the universe works Lek.. Lets say there was a end to it Lek why in hell would you want to be near the edge of non existences. But we cannot go to said edge because space is curved in any given direction your still going to be in the universe so you cannot leave even if you wanted to.

That is gap filling. It is merely a placebo excuse to justify our tribalism. The alpha male does not like challenge to it's position.
Did you understand what I was answering to, I wasn't trying to justify the existence, nor that one would have to accept God when He reveals himself. If God were to heal an amputee for everyone to see that would be an effect on people and then a Choice has to be made, what ever choice one would make wasn't even part of my response. Only that everyone would know God is real.

Indeed it does, and it was derived from a people who also thought that the Sun orbited the Earth, it is also a prime example of the argument from definition. We don't know if there is anything beyond the universe, and shouldn't make assumptions about it for convenience, as that is simply bad epistemology.

No, we do not live in a "closed" universe but a flat one. In a Euclidean plane a closed universe resembles a sphere, where you always remain inside it. A flat universe is like a flat surface, reaching in every direction.
I would more generally advocate that one only leave one entrance into their mind(reason), and keep the rest of it rather closed, as it is one hell of a lot easier to shovel shit in than it is to get it out.
If the evidence and reason for you to believe something isn't really any better than the reason you should believe some rural farmer from Arkansas got anally probed by interstellar visitors, then you probably shouldn't.

How do you newbs actually find these thread corpses?
I would be hard pressed pulling that grave robber trick, even if I tried. It seems kind of a requirement for new members to break the necroposting rule by at least resurecting one thread zombie.
